A small team building a trustworthy bike tracker.
We're engineers who ride. TechnikBrain started as a side project to answer a simple question — where's my bike, and is it safe? — without giving up control of our data.
Where we are today
Prototype in development
TechnikBrain is not a finished product yet. We're building and field-testing the hardware and firmware, and running a small early-access pilot. Here's roughly what's working and what's next — we'll keep this honest rather than promise dates we can't guarantee.
- Working: tracker hardware prototype, cloud ingest into user-owned storage, live & historical location, movement/geofence alerts, and a companion app in beta.
- In progress: on-device movement intelligence to save battery, cellular connectivity, and hardening the security features end-to-end.
- Next: broader pilot, longer field testing, and measured battery/coverage figures we can actually stand behind.
